本片化用《晉書·周處傳》和《世說新語》中“周處除三害”的典故，講述通緝犯陳桂林以為自己生命將盡，於是決心除掉通緝榜上排在自己前面的兩大罪犯並借此揚名。
2023年10月臺灣上映，2024年3月大陸上映。
2023年11月25日，該片獲第60屆臺灣電影金馬獎“最佳動作設計獎”；

陳桂林由於長期吸煙，近期頻繁咳嗽，這讓他相信了張醫生的話。同時，隨著唯一牽掛的奶奶去世，陳桂林決定投案自首。在警察局，他驚訝地發現自己在通緝令上僅排名第三，而且長時間的張貼已使他照片上的一半臉模糊不清。他不願自己的生命如此平庸地結束，決心模仿古代英雄周處，除去通緝令上排名前兩位的林祿和（綽號牛頭）和許偉強（綽號香港仔）。
Based on an ancient parable, this Taiwanese action thriller is a shock to the system. Starring a ferocious Ethan Ruan, the film follows Chen Guilin, a terminally ill gangster who discovers he is only the third most-wanted criminal. To leave a legacy, he decides to hunt down and kill the two men above him. The title brilliantly maps Buddhist philosophy onto the action genre: the pig represents ignorance (Chen), the snake represents hatred, and the pigeon represents greed. Beneath the brutal fight choreography lies a darkly humorous and surprisingly philosophical quest for meaning: Chen moves from selfish notoriety to a strange form of self-redemption.
