從某種意義上說，《聖潔律典》（肋未記17-26章）是舊約的巔峰之作。它列出了一系列誡命（有些涉及倫理，有些涉及禮儀性的行為），旨在引導人們將生命的每一天、每一天活成一種儀式。

日常生活的各方面都成為一種禮儀。天天的行為參與耶路撒冷聖殿的禮儀服事。

它向其他民族表明，以色列是特殊的子民，是上主的選民。

這是一種在地上如同在天上的生活方式。

如今，我們也能擁有那天使般的生活，因為聖神的聲音──耶穌賜給我們的聖神──每時每刻都在對我們說話。

聖神每時刻都在指引我們每個人該做什麼、該想什麼、該說什麼。

當我們跟隨祂時，我們分享了上主的聖潔，我們在地上活出了天上的神聖禮儀。

In a sense, the Law of Holiness (Leviticus, Chapters 17-26) is a a summit of the OT. It lists a set of commandments (some involving ethical, some involving ritual behavior) that aim at living the whole life, 24 hours a day, as a liturgy.

Daily behavior in all its aspects becomes a ritual. It participates of the liturgical service of the Temple in Jerusalem. It shows to other peoples that Israel is a special people, God-s chosen people. It is a way to live on earth as in heaven.

Such life as angels is now possible to us, because the voice of the Holy Spirit, the Spirit that Jesus gave us, speaks to us every moment. Every moment the Holy Spirit suggest each one of us what to do, what to think, which words to use.

When we follow Him, we share in the Holiness of God, we live on the earth the divine liturgy of heaven.
