今天的經文深刻地揭示了惡人的邏輯。

他們麻木了良知，他們自欺欺人地認為，他們所做的一切都是被允許的。

突然，義人出現了。

他們的行為如同惡人的良知一般，從外部譴責他們。

於是，惡人以為可以像對待自己的良知那樣對待義人：不惜一切代價讓他們噤聲。

惡人自以為是，認為這種權力會永遠持續下去。

無需與他們對抗。他們早已輸掉了這場人生之戰。

Today’s reading expresses with great depth the logic of wicked people. Since they have muted their conscience, they delude themselves and think that whatever they do is allowed.

Suddenly, righteous people appear. Their behavior takes the role of the conscience of the wicked and reproaches them from outside.

Then, the wicked think that they can do to such people what they did to their inner conscience: to mute them, by all means.

The wicked trust in their present power and think that it will last forever.

There is no need to counter them. They have already lost the battle of life.
