保錄將基督徒的當下生活詮釋為在希望中行走。僅僅是希望嗎？希望豈不是一種虛妄的期待？

保錄回答說，希望不會落空，因為我們已經藉著耶穌體驗了天主對我們的愛。

因此，我們行走在希望的道路上，因為我們渴望再次觸及並享受那已然讓我們瞥見那無限幸福的經歷。

天主的愛已傾注在我們心中，我們希望暢飲這愛。  

Paul interprets the present of Christian life as a walking in hope. Just hope? Is hope not a vain expectation? Paul answers and says that hope does not fail us, because we already experienced God’s love for us through Jesus. Therefore, we walk on the path of hope because we want to reach again and definitely enjoy that experience that has already given a glimpse of the infinite happiness awaiting us. God’s love has already been poured into our hearts. We hope to drink it.
