Among the many aspects of today’s reading, we focus on the multitude of those who serve and assist the Ancient of Days.

They are spiritual beings, they are subordinate to God and are always ready in front of Him.

Their attitude can become an ideal of life for us, and indeed, when we say in the Lord’s prayer: “on earth as it is in heaven”, we ask the Lord to live on the earth in a way similar to the life of angels in Heaven: always in the presence of God, enjoying his love; always ready for the task He assigns us, hurried to be back to Heaven, to stay with Him.
