The vision of the prophet conveys a much-needed message of hope to the exiles of that time as well to us today.

We might think that we too are in a desperate situation, because of many reasons.

We can rise again, we are already risen again, if we discover that in our troubles Jesus is present and makes us like himself.

This discovery made the saints happy, to the point of preferring being with Jesus on the cross to any other joy.
