「死亡施展在我們身上，生活卻在你們身上施展。」

這其中蘊含著某種奧秘：在基督徒的生命歷程中，那些賦予生命的人會經歷種種困難、苦難，以及各種各樣的死亡。

當我們說教會是建立在宗徒之上時，我們也需要承認，我們也是建立在他們的苦難之上。

如果我們想要賦予周遭的人生命，並為教會的成長做出貢獻，我們就需要接受經歷使徒生涯中所固有的苦難。

這是一種與耶穌更深層的合一。

In the first chapters of the Second Letter to the Corinthians, Paul opens his heart and shares with them what it means for him to announce the Gospel.

Today we read about how Paul faces all the difficulties he encounters in his ministry.

“In us, death works, in you, life grows.”

It is something of a mystery: in Christian experience, those who give life experience difficulties, suffering, many kinds of death.

When we say that we as Church are built on the Apostles, we need to acknowledge that we are built on their sufferings.

If we want to give life around us and contribute to the growth of the Church, we need to accept going through the sufferance that belongs to apostolic life.

It is a deeper unity with Jesus.
