先知預言的真是遙遠的未來，那未來唯有上主才能掌控。

約櫃尚未被摧毀（或許，這預言屬於更遠的時期）。

然而，當以色列人從被擄之地（第一次被擄到亞述，第二次被擄到巴比倫）歸回時，約櫃將不再重要，因為屆時將有一個新的約櫃。

事實上，整個耶路撒冷城，包括其中的聖殿、祭司和全體百姓，都將成為上主的寶座，祂臨在的彰顯。

這同樣也是對教會的啟示：上主的臨在透過教會遵行耶穌的誡命──彼此相愛──的生命，照耀整個世界。

The prophet speaks of a distant future, that is only in the hands of God.

The Ark has not yet been destroyed (or, maybe, this prophecy belongs to a later time). However, when the people will come back from the exile (the first exile to Assyria, the second exile to Babylon), the Ark will not be important anymore, because there will be a new Ark of the Covenant. Indeed, the whole city of Jerusalem, and in it the temple, the priesthood and the entire people, they will be the throne of God, the visibility of His Presence.

This is a message for the Church too: God’s presence shines, for the entire world, through the life of the Church according to Jesus’ commandment, reciprocal love.
