The love of the prophet Hosea for his unfaithful wife became, under the inspiration of the Lord, a decisive chapter in the History of Salvation.

Through Hosea, the Lord guided Israel to discover His personal and faithful love for the Chosen People. Israel discovered that the Lord wanted not a formal set of ritual observances but faithful love, as the love between wife and husband.

Such a discovery is not easy, even for us today.

However, The Lord is always in front of us, offering us His infinite love and asking us in return for it our total commitment to Him. This is our happiness and experience of eternal life.
