The prophet announces for his people a future full of joy, as when people prepare a solemn wedding.
We can interpret such prophecy as referring to Mary, Jesus’ Holy Mother. She is cause of joy for the whole world, because the Savior is born of her.
She too rejoices fully in the Lord, because of the grace He has bestowed on her.
We too rejoice with Mary: because of the Communion of the Saints, her graces are also ours, Her Immaculate Heart is the form of our heart, the ideal we hope to reach.
