我們面對兩個極端：一方面是女王的殘暴權力。

她甚至逼迫他人犯罪，只因他們懼怕女王的報復。

真相和正義蕩然無存，但這似乎已是司空見慣。

另一方面，我們看到一位忠於盟約人的道德力量，他將祖先的土地視為不可侵犯的神聖之物，即便為此付出代價——先是失去利益，後是失去生命——也在所不惜。

我們可以對比這兩種結局。那人被亂石砸死，卻在上主面前保持著尊嚴；女王被狗啃噬殆盡，屍骨無存。那麼，她的良心又該如何呢？

We are faced with two extremes: on the one side the ruthless power of the queen. She even forces others to commit a crime, for fear of her revenge. A complete obliteration of truth and justice, something happening as nothing new under the sun.

On the other side we see the moral strength of a man that is loyal to the covenant and considers the land of his ancestors as a non-negotiable sacred thing, even at the price, first of a loss of advantage and then of the loss of his life.

We can compare the two ends. That man is stoned to death, his dignity intact in front of God; the queen eaten by dogs to the point that nothing of her could be buried. And, what about her conscience?
