In our time, people live awaiting new things, they are novelty dependent. However, recalling the past and trying to learn from it is necessary, in order to keep our freedom and ability to judge events.
The life of the Church is a continuous meditation on the history of salvation, on Jesus who is the same yesterday, today and forever. In this way we find, every day, the novelty that gives meaning to our days.
