今天的第一篇讀經的開頭和結尾有著內在的關聯。

「要記住耶穌」是開頭；「不要在言辭上爭辯」是結尾。

的確，一切知識都需要在耶穌內找到圓滿，以至於僅僅記住祂的聖名就足夠了。

透過與祂交談，透過呼求祂的名，我們就能找到真福，找到天主。

另一方面，一切不以耶穌為中心、源泉、方法​​和目的的知識都是徒勞的。遲早有一天，我們會忘記我們試圖了解和理解的一切，我們也會被遺忘。

我們唯一的希望是，耶穌在祂的樂園裡記念我們。

There is a connection between the beginning of today’s first reading and its concluding verses.

“Remember Jesus” is the beginning; “stop disputing about words” is the ending.

Indeed, all knowledge needs to find its fulfilment in Jesus, to the point that remembering only His Name is enough. By talking to him, by invoking His Name we find beatitude, we find God.

On the other side, all knowledge that does not has Jesus as its center, source, method and purpose, is vain. Sooner or later, we will forget everything we try to know and understand, and we will also be forgotten together with it. Our only hope is that Jesus remembers us in his Paradise.
