According to Paul, our participation to the body and blood of Jesus is the fruit of the celebration.

Jesus left a set of liturgical acts as the memorial of the gift of himself for the salvation of all.

He told the disciples to do the same.

In the liturgical celebration the intention of Jesus acts on us.

He makes us one with him and one among ourselves.

We become the living announcement of Jesus’ salvation, His presence in the world.

All this does not come from us. It comes from the power of Jesus’ intention that works on us through the liturgy.
