在今天的讀經一中，我們可以默想三點。

第一，成為使徒的必要條件：與耶穌長久相伴。

第二，使命：見證耶穌的復活。

第三，即便瑪弟亞已經做好了準備，最終的揀選權仍在天主手中。

我們可以看到，在我們自身，這三個條件都已具備。耶穌從我們生命的開始就與我們同在；天主在我們生命的每一刻都揀選我們；我們自身，我們自己，就是復活的活見證，因為我們感受到耶穌活在我們心中。

因此，我們可以專注於幫助我們的兄弟姊妹在他們內發現耶穌的生命，發現耶穌對他們的愛。

In today’s first reading we can meditate on three points.

First, the requirement to be chosen as an apostle: to have been with Jesus for a long time.

Second, the mission: to witness the Resurrection of Jesus.

Third, even given the readiness of Matthias, the choice belongs to God.

We can observe that, in our cases, the three conditions are already given. Jesus is with us from the beginning of our life; God chooses us every moment of our life; we have in ourselves, we ourselves are, the living witness of the Resurrection, because we feel Jesus living in us.

We can therefore specialize in the art of helping our brothers and sisters to discover the life in Jesus in them, the love of Jesus for them.
