As he himself was saying, to enter the Kingdom of God, Paul had to suffer many tribulations. However, he went on proclaiming the good news of Jesus from city to city and exhorting the disciples.

What the two apostles do at the end is very important for us. We need to share the good news of what the Lord is doing through us and at the same time to listen to what other brothers and sisters are doing. In this way we show to the Lord that we treasure His grace and multiply its effects. Now – as in the past, perhaps – what counts is the news. We need to fill the space of attention with the miracles the Lord is continually doing.
