伯多宗徒教導我們，身為耶穌子民的我們，我們生命中最重要的任務是什麼：奉獻。

我們該奉獻什麼？奉獻我們所領受的一切：擁有主所賜予的一切的唯一方法就是將其奉獻給祂。

如此，我們便以愛的形式擁有了我們所領受的：這不僅是一份禮物，更是愛本身，這愛是領受並回饋的禮物的真諦。

我們該奉獻什麼？我們應該奉獻自己；這是天主給我們的第一份禮物。我們可以接受生命中所有的局限，以及生命不斷流逝的事實；我們可以將我們的貧乏奉獻給主，祂便成為我們的富足。

我們該奉獻什麼？我們應該不斷地奉獻彌撒慶典所教導我們的：我們可以將耶穌奉獻給天父，因為祂渴望我們將其奉獻，我們與祂一起、透過祂、在祂內奉獻自己於天父，實現聖三的生活。

我們必須認同，生命的真諦，除此之外別無其他。

The Apostle Peter teaches us which is our main task in our lives as people of Jesus: to offer.

What should we offer? Everything we receive: the only way to possess what the Lord has given us is to offer it to him. In doing so, we have what we received in the form of love: not only as a gift, but as the love that is the truth of the gift received and offered back.

What should we offer? We should offer ourselves; the first gift God gave us. We can accept all the limits of our life and also the fact that our life is constantly fleeing us; we can offer our poverty to the Lord and have Him as our richness.

What should we offer? We should constantly offer what the celebration of the Mass teaches us: we can offer Jesus to the Heavenly Father, because He wants to be offered by us, that we offer ourselves with Him, through Him and in Him.

We must agree that there is no other meaning in life and of life than this.
