這經文的開端，先知似乎在自言自語。

他先描述了周遭發生的一切。一方面，他被同胞孤立，無人真正支持他。

甚至連他的朋友也暗中窺伺，等待他倒台後伺機報復。

另一方面，他看到主與他同在，如同英雄，如同強大的戰士。

於是，他向主祈禱。他知道周遭發生的一切是主的考驗，是對他義行的印證。

儘管如此，他仍然祈求主懲罰壓迫者，讓他親眼目睹敵人的覆滅。

最後，他邀請另一群人讚美主的作為－先知確信主必會回應他的禱告。

我們可以把自己視為這群人中的一員，讚美主，即使我們可能也無法立即看到祂公義的勝利。

At the beginning, the prophet seems to talk to himself. First, he describes what is taking place around him. On one hand, he is isolated among his fellow citizens, nobody really supports him. Even his friends are lurking in hide to wait for his fall and have their revenge. On the other side, he sees that the Lord is with him, like a hero, a mighty fighter.

So, he invokes the Lord. He knows that what is taking place around him is a test from the Lord, a confirmation that the prophet is a righteous man. Nevertheless, he asks the Lord to take revenge against his oppressors, and let the prophet see the downfall of his foes.

At the end, he invites a new group of people to praise the Lord for what he has done – the prophet is sure that he will answer his prayer.

We can see ourselves a spart of this group and praise the Lord, even if we might not immediately see the triumph of His justice.
