Paul begins the second part of his letter. After contemplating “salvation in heaven,” now he explains “salvation here on earth.”

His first exhortation is a general one, and it fits everybody in the community, because Paul suggests the attitudes (his suggestion goes to the roots of behavior) everybody should have and foster.

The reasons are compelling: we have everything in common; we live in the same grace of the Holy Spirit.

Paul is also very down to earth: we all know that sometimes the only thing to do to keep unity is to patiently bear each others limits, with patience.
