October 13 Ordinary time Week 28 Tuesday First Reading

To tell clearly the Galatians who they are, Paul asks them to be consequent as he was in front of Peter.

The must not undergo circumcision, because that rite means that what saves them is their belonging to the Jewish people, not Jesus and the faith in Him.

If they do that, they enter again into the logic of slavery to human mind and human laws, whereas Jesus offers them to live according to His Holy Spirit a life of love.

We need every day to acknowledge our identity and live according to our relationship with Jesus, who is alive and cannot be reduced to a set of norms.
