《申命記》見證了這樣一個時代：透過先知們的見證（特別是歐瑟亞先知），以色列人深刻地感受到，他們與天主的關係不能只停留在外在層面（儀式、獻祭…）。天主要求的是愛，是發自內心的選擇。

要「全心全意」愛天主。如果心中充滿了對天主的愛，那麼心中是否還有愛別的對象的空間呢？

我們的信仰要求很高。然而，主為我們提供了最好的事業，讓我們將一切投入其中。

Love God “with all your heart”. If the heart is full of the love of God, is there in that heart a space for something else?
