今天我們收到兩條勸勉。第一條是要按照光明而生活，行公義、良善和真理之事。

第二條是要揭露罪惡的行為，並公開譴責（請注意：我們應該譴責的是罪行，而不是罪人）。這樣，我們就能為犯罪者開闢一條改過自新的道路。

讓他們認清自己的錯誤行為，就好比喚醒他們從沉睡中醒來。用真理之光照亮他們的行為，在某種程度上，我們為他們預備耶穌將要賜給他們的啟迪。

We receive today two exhortations. The first is to act as sons of light and do works of justice, of goodness and truth.

The second is to shed light on negative behavior and condemn it openly (Let us pay attention: we need to condemn sin, not sinners). In this way, we can open a way for improvement for those who commit sins.

To enlighten them about their wrong behavior is kind of awakening them from their deadly sleep. By shedding the light of truth on their behavior we prepare, in some ways, the enlightenment that Jesus will give them.
