今天我們所閱讀的是先知歐瑟亞書的最後一部分。

先知以天主的名義說話，表達了天主對祂子民的最後呼召呼籲。

先知建議百姓應該對上主說些什麼，然後再次讓他們聆聽神的話語。

在這段經文中，我們看到了政治語言（馬匹）和人計劃語言（我們手所做的）與自然語言之間的對比。

天主自己呈現為祂子民在地上的新樂園。祂勸勉他們──也勸勉我們──按照自然的韻律，以一種簡單卻又充滿靈性的方式，在祂面前生活。  

We read today the last part of the book of the prophet Hosea. The prophet speaks in the name of God and expresses God’s final appeal to his people. The prophet suggests which words the people should say to the Lord, then again lets them hear God’s words.

We see, in this text, the opposition between the language of politics (horses) and of human plans (the works of our hands) and the language of nature. God presents himself as the new paradise on earth for his people. He suggests them – and us – to live in front of him according to the rhythm of nature, in a simple, yet intensely spiritual way.
