在新約中，耶穌的天主藉著祂的聖徒所彰顯的榮耀更為直接：對我們而言，沒有絲毫自滿，因為在每一份恩典中，我們都默想上主的榮耀；在每一位聖徒身上，我們都看到了耶穌慈愛的容顏。

The praise of the great ancestors in Israel confirms the pride of being part of such a glorious people. On the other side, the praise goes to God, who manifested himself through his Chosen People.

In the New Testament the glorification of the God of Jesus through his saints is more immediate: for us, there is no time for any self-complacency because in every grace we contemplate God’s glory, in every saint we see the loving countenance of Jesus.
