可惜的是，就像我們常常經歷的那樣，他們常常以為權力掌握在自己手中，只因為他們看到人們服從他們。他們看不見自身的脆弱和無助。他們仍然需要學習順服。這個教訓終會到來，有時為時已晚，無論對自己，還是對那些因他們的固執而受到傷害的人而言都是如此。

“Grant your servant a docile heart.”

Solomon’s prayer can become our daily prayer too. It should become the prayer of all those in power. Unfortunately, in the same way as it often happens to us, many times they imagine that power is in their hands, because they see people obeying them. They do not see their fragility and helplessness. They still need to learn obedience. The lesson will arrive, sometimes too late, both for them and for those they have damaged with their stubbornness.
