今天的經文出自所謂的“耶肋米亞坦白錄”，先知耶肋米亞在其中向上主控訴，因為他覺得上主對他不公。

的確，在一段充滿希望的預言之後，天主要求先知耶肋米亞發出威脅的預言，這使他樹敵眾多。

我們常常會因為各種不同的原因向上主控訴。

耶肋米亞的經歷鼓勵我們不要害怕這樣做（先知也曾經這樣做過！）。

這其中有充分的理由：當我們像耶肋米亞一樣向上主控訴時，我們與上主的對話就變得開放，即使這對話看似痛苦。

透過這種對話，上主聖化我們，正如祂使耶肋米亞成聖一樣。我們漸漸明白，祂的烈火會焚盡我們所有的雜念，並在我們心中留下對祂的堅定不移的信心。

Today’s text belongs to the so called “Confessions of Jeremiah,” the texts where the prophet protests God, because he feels that God has not been fair to him.

Indeed, after a time of prophecies of hope, God asked the prophet to deliver prophecies of threat, and this created to him many enemies.

Many times, we find that o would protest God for many reasons.

The experience of Jeremiah encourages us not to be afraid of doing that (the prophet did that too!). There is a strong reason for that: when we, like Jeremiah, protest to God, our dialogue with him is open, even if it looks painful. Through this dialogue God sanctifies us, as He did with Jeremiah. Little by little we learn that Hiss fire burns away all our thoughts and leaves within us a desperate confidence in Him.
