或許是因為上主像在那個時代一樣，如今也透過積極、友善和充滿愛的關係來啟示自己。

我們可以一次又一次地致力於建立這樣的關係。

The stories of the prophet Elisha do not give us much information about important religious and political problems, as was the case with the prophet Elijiah. They speak more about the daily life of the communities of the prophets. We feel these stories are closer to our life, as it is the case with today’s story.

Both the lady of the story and the prophet are very kind, delicate and generous.

Why is this story part of the Bible? Perhaps because God reveals himself, now as he did in those times, through positive, friendly and loving relationships. We can commit ourselves to creating such relationships, time and again.
