Throughout the exhortations of today’s reading, we feel the desire of the presence of the Lord, that He may be the real subject of Christian life.

By living in him, by letting Him lead us, we receive strength and new enthusiasm. We discover that all events, even persecution, become source of joy, because such events are opportunities to be more united with Jesus.
