首先，教會屬於耶穌，祂用自己的寶血救贖了我們。教會不屬於任何其他人。

其次，持守我們所領受的傳統是一種理想，也是我們應視為榮耀的所在。許多人想要增加一些源自於自身而非源自耶穌的新事物。他們追求的是自己的利益或榮耀，而不是耶穌的榮耀。

第三，保祿維繫教會對耶穌忠誠的方法是不斷勸勉眾人。

我們需要在心中和腦海中永遠記得救主的甜蜜記憶。

Paul’s words help us to know what to do in the Church.

First, the Church belongs to Jesus, he saved us with his blood. The Church does not belong to anybody else.

Second, keeping the tradition as we received it is an ideal. It is something we should consider glory. So many people want to add new things that come from them, not from Jesus. They look for their advantage, or glory, not for the glory of Jesus.

Third, Paul’s way to keep the fidelity of the Church to Jesus was to continually exhort everybody. We need to keep alive, in our hearts and minds, the sweet memory of our Savior.
