We read part of the farewell speech by Paul to the elders of the church of Ephesus.

After a synthetic description of what he did and how he did it, Paul speaks of what he thinks is awaiting him: chains and tribulations.

Then, he proclaims his innocence, if anybody were to refuse Jesus and be therefore condemned.

This last word makes us reflect. Indeed, in whatever encounter, dialogue, interaction with others, we might be innocent or guilty. It depends on what we want to share with others. The only way to be declared innocent is to share with them Jesus and his love, through all what we say and do.
