宗徒們意識到，教會團體中有許多需要，他們無法滿足所有需求。

因此，他們增加了負責各項服務的人員。

不僅如此，他們還意識到，有一個服務至關重要，那就是禱告和傳講天主的話。

他們接受自己無法包攬一切；他們認識到，他們的具體職責是使整個團體與主保持緊密的聯繫。

如果沒有這種深厚的聯繫，即使是善行，遲早也會失去力量和意義。

畢竟，教會存在於世上的目的就是為了引領所有人與耶穌相交。

The Apostles realize that in the community there are many needs and that they cannot provide for all those needs.

Therefore, they increase the number of people in charge of services. Not only, they are aware that one service, that is: prayer and ministry of God’s Word, is of the utmost importance. They accept not to oversee everything; they recognize that their specific responsibility is to keep the whole community in touch with the Lord. Without that deep contact, even good deeds sooner or later will lose strength and conviction.

After all, the Church exists in the world to bring all to the communion with Jesus.
