In parallel with the third chapter, now Paul turns to the fight against the spirits of evil.

When we consider the kind of weapons to wear, we discover that only two are kind of offensive weapons: the readiness to announce the gospel as footwear, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.

Nothing is said about how to fight. It looks that when we become visible word of the Gospel, when our words are announcement and prayer, we have done our mission.

This task is at the same time simple and difficult, because we tend to be attracted by other purposes. We need to simplify our intention and our words, make them words Jesus would pronounce with us and through us.
