我們得知他們聚集的地點，與最後的晚餐相同，以及在場的人：耶穌的兄弟們、一些婦女、瑪利亞和宗徒們。

後來，我們得知當時聚集了約一百二十人（第15節）。

我們注意到這些人祈禱時的態度。他們心意相通。

這也是我們一生中都應努力實現的理想。

同心合一是教會的道路，也是教會能賜給世界的禮物。

此外，我們也了解到，瑪利亞的在場對於這種合一至關重要。她懂得如何祈禱，並將我們與她的態度聯繫起來。

We read today from the Book of the Acts of the Apostles the report of the life of the first Church after the Ascension of Jesus to Heaven and before the descent of the Holy Spirit.

We receive information about the place of their gathering, the same as that of the Last Supper, and about the people who were there: the brothers of Jesus, some women, Mary and the apostles. Later, we will be informed that there was a gathering of about one hundred and twenty people (verse 15).

We notice the attitude of these people when praying. They were unanimous.

This is an ideal that awaits to be fulfilled by us too, all over our lives. Being of one soul and of one spirit is the way of the Church and is the gift the Church can offer the world all over history.

Besides, we learn that Mary’s presence is necessary for such a unity to be possible, She know how to pray and associates us with her attitude.
