This short and simple booklet collects the resolutions made by Saint Guido Maria Conforti at the end of the spiritual exercises, made between 1883 and 1890. We can get to know in a very personal way the figure of a Conforti, who from his youth, cared for the spiritual and the human aspects, the love of God without forgetting the love of neighbor in the smallest attentions. Is The beginning of a journey towards Holiness that starts in these early years and that will end on earth on November 5, 1931, and will be recognized on October 23, 2011, with the (solemn Canonization of Guido Maria Conforti in Rome) declaration of Holiness made by Pope Benedict XVI. It is not for nothing that in his funeral homily, the Bishop of Cremona, Monsignor Cazzani, remembered him with these words: “Is this a funeral or a triumph? The funeral of a man fallen under the scythe of death or the triumph of a saint exalted to the Glory of Heaven?”
