「你們藉著耶穌信那叫他從死者中復活、又給祂光榮的天主，所以你們的信心和盼望都在於天主。」

在舊約中，以色列人因著天主不斷為他們所行的神蹟而信祂。

我們也因耶穌的生、死、復活而信天主。在祂的生命中，耶穌領導我們認識天主、看見天主、祂使我們經歷天主。

別人的信心和盼望最終都建立在自身之上，而我們的信心和盼望卻建立在永生的天主之上，藉著耶穌，祂活著，我們為祂、也為天主而生活。

我們需要在內心深處感受到，崇拜我們自己和崇拜耶穌——永生的源頭——之間有什麼區別。

“Through Jesus you believe in God who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.”

In the OT the people of Israel believed in God through the miracles God continually worked for them.

We too, believe in God through the events of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. In his life, Jesus is for us the revelation, the image, the experience of God.

While other people’s faith and hope, in the end, are in themselves only, our faith and hope are in the living God through Jesus, who is alive and makes us live for him and for God.

We need to feel in ourselves the difference between adoring our ideas and adoring Jesus, the living source of eternal life.
