我們看到一場奇特的較量：人類的脅迫力量對抗福音的力量；迫害的力量對抗因信耶穌而得自由的力量；武器的力量對抗聖言的力量。

然而，二者之間卻存在著區別：遭受迫害的人是被迫的，他們的自由受到限制，甚至他們的身體也飽受折磨。

而那些分享福音的人使人得自由，那些聆聽福音的人自由地相信，他們的可能性增加，甚至他們的身體也歡欣雀躍。

這樣的爭戰每天都在我們內外上演。我們無需恐懼。

我們像早期基督徒一樣逃離，但我們不會保持沉默。

我們的疾病極具傳染性。

We see a strange race: the power of human coercion against the power of the Gospel; the power of persecution against the liberating power of faith in Jesus; the power of weapons against the power of the Word.

There is a difference, though: those who suffer persecution are compelled against their will; their freedom is restricted, even their bodies suffer. Those who share the gospel free people, those who listen believe freely, their possibilities increase, even their bodies rejoice.

Such a battle is going on every day, inside and outside us. We do not need to be afraid. We flee, as the first Christians did, but we do not keep silent. Our sickness is highly contagious.
